Carolina Structural Systems, a manufacturer of structural wood component systems, is establishing its first South Carolina operation in Anderson County. The $4.7 million investment will create 60 new jobs.

AESC, a world-leading electric vehicle battery technology company, today announced the expansion of its state-of-the-art battery cell facility in Florence County. The $810 million investment will create 450 new jobs. Expected to be complete by 2026, this new commitment follows AESC’s initial announcement in December 2022 of $810 million and 1,170 jobs, resulting in a total investment of $1.62 billion and 1,620 new jobs.

Quality Enclosures, a manufacturer of tempered glass shower enclosures, today announced that it will establish new operations in Clarendon County. The company’s $7.37 million investment will create 50 new jobs. 

Quality Enclosures has several locations throughout the Southeast, mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions. Founded in 1963, the company manufactures and wholesales luxury glass shower enclosures.

OneH2, a leader in sustainable hydrogen solutions, today announced it is expanding its U.S. footprint by establishing the company’s first South Carolina operation in York County. The $16 million investment will create 87 new jobs by 2026.

JTEKT North America, a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions and high-performance machine tools, today announced it is expanding its manufacturing operation in Greenville County. The $48.4 million investment will create 87 new jobs.

Sage Automotive Interiors (Sage), a manufacturer of automotive interior materials, today announced it is expanding its Sharon Plant in Abbeville County. The $10.45 million investment will create 95 new jobs.

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Smurfit Kappa, a global leader in providing paper-based packaging solutions, today announced it is expanding its U.S. footprint by establishing the company’s first South Carolina operation in Anderson County. The $68 million investment will create 200 new jobs.

ZF Group, an original equipment supplier for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and industrial technology, today announced it is expanding ZF Transmissions Gray Court, its manufacturing facility in Laurens County.

Nissin Foods, a global leader in producing premium, instant ramen products, today announced plans to expand its U.S. footprint by establishing operations in Greenville County. The $228 million investment will create over 300 new jobs.

Governor Henry McMaster and the South Carolina Department of Commerce (S.C. Commerce) today announced that Mojave Energy Systems (Mojave), a clean technology (cleantech) start-up company that develops and manufacturers next-generation commercial air conditioning systems, is establishing its first manufacturing facility in Anderson County.
