Orion Performance Compounds, Inc. today announced plans to establish operations in Kershaw County. The company’s $13 million investment will create up to 54 new jobs.

A manufacturer of highly engineered thermoplastic compounds, Orion Performance Compounds, Inc. will blend melted resins with carbon fiber, lubricants and other additives to form custom materials for use in final markets such as automotive, aerospace, medical and more.

Redwood Materials, a producer of anode and cathode battery components for electric vehicles, along with Governor Henry McMaster, today announced plans to establish operations in Berkeley County. The company’s $3.5 billion investment, which marks the largest economic development announcement in the history of South Carolina, will create 1,500 new jobs.

Element Designs, one of the leading North American manufacturers of custom aluminum frame glass cabinet doors, today announced plans to relocate its headquarters and manufacturing operations to York County. The company’s $5 million investment will bring approximately 100 new jobs to Fort Mill over the next five years.

Moose Logistics & Distribution, a custom athletic sock distributor, today announced plans to establish operations in Horry County. The company’s more than $2.6 million investment will create 75 new jobs over the next five years.

Kontrolmatik Technologies, via its subsidiary Pomega Energy Storage Technologies, today announced plans to build a 3 gigawatt-hour (GWh) capacity lithium-ion battery factory in Colleton County. The company’s $279 million investment will create approximately 575 new jobs.

Flybar, Inc., a premier sporting toy company, today announced plans to establish distribution operations in Greenwood County. The company’s $8 million investment will create 36 new jobs.

Envision AESC, a world-leading Japanese electric vehicle battery technology company, along with Governor Henry McMaster, announced today it will build a state-of-the-art battery cell gigafactory in Florence County. The $810 million investment will create 1,170 new jobs and will support the company’s multi-year partnership with the BMW Group.

Global Sales and Warehousing, a family-run original equipment golf bag manufacturer and distributor, today announced plans to establish operations in Orangeburg County. The company’s $4 million investment will help create 35 new jobs.

Chick-fil-A Supply, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chick-fil-A, today announced plans to establish its newest distribution center in Lexington County. The company’s $80 million investment will create 165 new jobs.

Founded in 2020, Chick-fil-A Supply supplements Chick-fil-A’s distribution network and allows the company to maintain greater flexibility within its supply chain. Chick-fil-A Supply is an innovative distribution service provider focused on understanding and meeting the unique needs of Chick-fil-A restaurants.

Executive Personal Computers, Inc. (EPC, Inc.), a subsidiary of CSI Leasing, Inc., today announced plans to expand with new operations in Lexington County. The company’s $9.5 million investment will create 133 new jobs.
